Kit is a nick-name. When she was little her dad would sing "pack up your troubles". As you may already know the song goes "pack up your troubles in your troubles in your old kitbag and smile, smile, smile..." So Kit would say "Sing my song! sing the Kit song!" so everyone started to call her Kit and it stuck.

The real Kit does not have a doll displayed in her home. She was offered one but turned it down... my step mom in law and my daughter both have one and everytime Kit is around so is the doll.
She is still a die hard Reds fan and lives in New England in a lovely farmhouse. Never married. More will come when I grill my husband tonight! She taught him how to ski and play tennis.

Oh yes and without selling out and giving too much information her real name is a derivative of Margaret. She also spent a long stint of her professional career as a social worker. Her mother died last year and all of the old homestead items and clothing are now gone. She favors danish modern furniture intermingled with antiques. She went to a private all girls college in New York State and lived in Cincinatti proper. Since she will not talk about being made into a doll, I will call my step mother in law this week and get info from her since she has known her for over 40 years.

I don't know. I know Xavier was founded sometime in the 1800's, but I have no idea when UC was founded. Or maybe she didn't go to either of these. But if UC was around then she probably would've gone there as uposed to Xavier.
